Professor Chris Adam has been appointed Director of the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM). He is also the new Associate Dean Postgraduate Programs for the Faculty of Business, incorporating AGSM.

Professor Adam has taught corporate financial strategy, international finance and corporate governance on the AGSM's full-time MBA, MBA (Executive), Hong Kong MBA and executive programs for many years.

Professor Alec Cameron, the Dean of UNSW's Faculty of Business (incorporating AGSM) said: "Professor Adam has made an exceptional contribution to AGSM over many years and he has successfully headed the Faculty's School of Banking and Finance for the last eight months.

"Professor Adam's appointment as Associate Dean reflects his immense ability and commitment to the AGSM, the Faculty of Business, and the broader university," said Professor Cameron.

Professor Adam conducts research on issues in international corporate finance and financial intermediaries, and has graduated eight PhD students in the last nine years. His most recent publications include four articles on aspects of multinational banking for the new encyclopedia of social sciences published by UNESCO.
