As key UN climate talks begin in Paris, the stakes have never been higher for political leaders to find a binding agreement on how to keep temperature rises to below 2°C.
How to Save the World is a one-hour special from ABC TV’s Foreign Correspondent that follows reporter Eric Campbell as he meets visionaries and innovators around the world who are getting on with finding solutions.
UNSW marine ecologist Dr Adriana Vergés has co-curated a premiere screening of the documentary, directed and produced by Stephen Oliver, on Monday, 30 November at the Australian Museum.
Presented as part of the Science & Storytelling series, the screening will be followed by a Q&A with a panel of experts discussing the way science is conveyed on screen and wider issues of science communication.
Panellists
The event is hosted by the Australian Museum and organised in collaboration with the Australian Marine Sciences Association, UNSW’s Evolution & Ecology Research Centre and the Sydney Institute of Marine Science.
