When deciding on final uni degree preferences, getting all the facts can be the key to making the right decision.

UNSW Info Day gives prospective students the opportunity to reconsider study options before the close of preference changes at UAC for the 2010 Main Rounds.

For those seeking advice, UNSW academic staff, career advisers and students will be on hand to answer any lingering questions on programs and student life.

There will be a comprehensive series of lectures, with information from every faculty and its programs, and handy tips on managing a study/ life balance, international exchange and campus living.

"On Info Day we pull out the whole university, so prospective students can quickly access all the information they need," says Steve Sumter, manager of UNSW's student recruitment.

"Whatever their ATAR result, we can help them find the best pathway into their chosen area of study."

For a closer look at student life, student ambassadors will be running campus tours and a free sausage sizzle will be on offer.

Computers will be provided so students can change their preferences on-the-spot if desired.
