The wait is over. Your ATAR results are in, and university is on the horizon. Check the Guaranteed Entry page and come along to UNSW Info Day tomorrow to plan your future.

“With ATARs released today, UNSW's Info Day provides school leavers and parents with the chance to chat with current students, academics and advisers about the options available,” says Future Students manager Jonathon Strauss.

Future students will also be able to find out today whether they have guaranteed entry to UNSW.

"Simply put, Guaranteed Entry allows us to tell you today what selection rank (ATAR + Bonus Points) will guarantee you a place in a particular degree here at UNSW," says Strauss.

By using the clear and simple Guaranteed Entry calculator, students see the selection rank they need for their degree.

If they have a selection rank at or above the published figure, potential students will receive an offer to study at UNSW in the 2017 UAC Main Round as long as the degree in question is listed as their highest eligible preference. Check the Guaranteed Entry FAQs.

UNSW Info Day

And for students who are not 100% sure about what to study, there will be help on hand this Saturday at UNSW's Info Day.

“The Advisory Centre should be your first stop at Info Day. It's your one-stop shop for information on admission, degrees and more,” Strauss says.

“If you have have received Guaranteed Entry at UNSW, Info Day is a great opportunity to start thinking about first semester as well as celebrate your achievements.”

And to help students celebrate, UNSW will host a special event – the HSCyalater festival – which will feature live bands, DJs, food trucks and more, to provide a taste of student life at UNSW.

Check out the Info Day website to find out what’s happening on the day and to plan ahead. Info Day staff will also have details about new undergraduate degrees on offer at UNSW in 2017.

“In 2017, new degrees include Data Science and Vision Science as well as some great new dual degrees like Vision Science/Master of Clinical Optometry,” says Strauss.

Don't forget to take a campus tour and, if you’re planning to live on campus, touch base with accommodation providers.
