Three UNSW students will represent Australia in Water Polo and Table Tennis at the upcoming World University Summer Games.

The games, which will be held in Bangkok from 8 to 18 August, are a huge sporting event where University students from around the world compete in a range of sports.

Daniel Swinnerton and Daniel Lees, both former sports scholarship holders studying Building and Construction Management at the Faculty of the Built Environment, have been selected in the Australian Water Polo team.

George Tang, a current Ben Lexcen Sports Scholar and a Materials Science and Engineering student in the Faculty of Science, has been selected in the Table Tennis team.

The UNSW Sports Association's Helen Bryson says, "The World Uni Summer Games are a huge international and very prestigous event and we are very proud of these student for being selected."
