The Dharawal language is being learnt by younger generations thanks to a partnership between UNSW and the La Perouse Aboriginal community.
The Paul Ramsay Foundation donation supports the Culturally Nourishing Schooling project and is the largest ever received by UNSW Sydney’s School of Education.
New projects will focus on restoration of children from out of home care and Indigenous content in curriculum.
