New fire-retardant paint to protect homes in a bushfire attack

UNSW Engineering's Professor Guan Yeoh and his team have formulated a new fire-retardant paint that will help prevent the spread of bushfires.
The first of its kind to reach the BAL-40 bushfire standard, FSA Firecoat is designed to produce a thick layer of char which offers an insulating barrier.
