UNSW has won twenty grants in the latest round of funding from the NHMRC, including a grant of over $1.5 million to a team led by Professor Robyn Ward.

UNSW has won twenty grants in the latest round of funding from the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).

The University won a total of almost $4.4 million dollars, including a health services research program grant worth over $1.5 million.

The health services research program grant is one of seven successful projects in the category. It will go to a team, led by Professor Robyn Ward, which will investigate the use of clinical and economic evidence to inform local decision making in cancer care.

The grants, totalling $60 million, were announced today by the Minister for Health and Ageing, Tony Abbott.
