UNSW and the NSW Board of Studies are offering a new program for high-achieving secondary students to fast-track their university study.

Under the HSC University Pathways scheme, talented students who complete Higher School Certificate courses early can enrol in a first-year university course while completing the rest of their HSC requirements.

UNSW is one of three institutions offering the new program, which is open to all high schools.

Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Students), Professor Joan Cooper, said UNSW was very pleased to be able to offer this fast-track study opportunity.

"Students gain from the exposure to higher education and the University benefits from the affiliation with extremely bright students," Professor Cooper said.

There are no course fees for students participating in the program at UNSW.

Applications need to be lodged by 30 November. Application forms can be downloaded here.
