University students will have the chance to meet with leading multinational companies when UNSW hosts its annual International Careers Expo on Wednesday 29 August, 2007.

The Expo, open to all university students from NSW and the ACT, provides a forum for organisations to showcase their businesses and for students to gain a better understanding of some of the international employment options available to them.

Organisations that will be represented at the Expo include: Accenture, AIESEC, Barclays Capital Global Services Singapore, CapitaLand, CPA Australia, Daikin Industries, Ernst & Young Vietnam, Monash Professional Internships, National Institute of Accountants, Oliver Wyman, Standard Chartered Bank and UBS Asia.

Last year the Expo attracted 1100 students.

"UNSW has strong links with international business through industry partnerships and a diverse graduate community," says Taye Morris, UNSW Careers and Employment. "The Expo is a great opportunity for students to talk with prospective employers about the attributes they are looking for in recruits."

The 2007 UNSW International Careers Expo website provides students with information on the Expo's industry partners, Expo preparation tips and help with travel and accommodation services.
