Dr Patricia Flanagan, UNSW Art & Design researcher and lecturer, sees wearable technology as "a platform between inside and outside, rather than a body covering". Her Cyborganic, a woven seagrass headdress, gives the wearer an awareness of the space they are in when they enter areas of greater biodiversity.
