Too easy for under-18s to buy alcohol online

Tougher laws for online alcohol sales are needed to prevent under-18s and people with an alcohol dependency from buying liquor at the touch of a button, UNSW public health researchers say.

Children and teens who are given alcohol by their parents are twice as likely to be drinking full serves of alcohol by age 15 or 16 but are less likely to binge drink, a UNSW study has found.
