UNSW has notified Graduate Careers Australia that elements of the data provided by the University for the Australian Graduate Survey (AGS) between 2010 and 2013 were inaccurate.
UNSW has become aware that its survey response rates for the 2010-2013 survey years were lower than the 50% required under the AGS guidelines and thus were not eligible to be published externally. Graduate employment, salary figures and course experience responses for the 2013 survey year were incorrect.
The University has removed reference to the incorrect data in published material wherever possible and disclaimers are now on the University website where publications or articles that include this data appear. Where this data is expressly referenced in the University’s Annual Reports and other publications for those years, it should be noted that UNSW is unable to offer assurance as to the reliability of this data and any reliance on the data should be qualified accordingly.
