The wait is over. Your ATAR results are in, and university is on the horizon. Check the Guaranteed Entry page and come along to UNSW Info Day tomorrow to plan your future.

“With ATARs released today, UNSW's Info Day provides school leavers and parents with the chance to chat with current students, academics and advisers about the options available,” says Jonathon Strauss, Director, Future Students and Marketing, at UNSW Sydney.

Future students will also be able to find out today whether they have guaranteed entry to UNSW.

“Simply put, Guaranteed Entry allows us to tell you today what selection rank (ATAR + Bonus Points) will guarantee you a place in a particular degree here at UNSW,” says Strauss.

By using the clear and simple Guaranteed Entry calculator, students see the selection rank they need for their degree.

If they have a selection rank at or above the published figure, potential students will receive an offer to study at UNSW in the 2018 UAC Main Round as long as the degree in question is listed as their highest eligible preference. Check the Guaranteed Entry FAQs.

And for students who are not 100% sure about what to study, help is at hand.

“The Advisory Centre should be your first stop at Info Day for information about everything from admission, degrees and dual degrees, to pathways, scholarships and bonus points,” Strauss says.

Check out the Info Day website to find out what’s happening on the day and go to the Lecture Schedule for information about lectures on everything from degrees, campus clubs and social activities, to tips on how to manage the transition from high school to university.

Take a campus tour and, if you’re planning to live on campus, now’s a good time to talk to accommodation providers. Talk to our Student Ambassadors – you will recognise them by their yellow shirts –  about what it’s really like to be a student at UNSW.
